I joined the band right at the start in 97 and haven't looked back. The band has come on leaps and bounds since then. We often hit problems - and had to mix around different combinations of people to get things right, but now I think we're finally set.

When we first started out we were all playing guitars and it was 'different' that we even had a Keyboard too! Now it's all just about playing with sounds to try and get the right feel for a song. To keep the rythm going and get people moving.

One of the best things that can happen in a band, is to have the music come together when your playing live - so that not only you, and the band are feeling it - but the crowd are too, and they get up on their feet and dance. That's when you know either two things. 1) You're doing something right or 2) The drink at the bar is cheap!

I mostly play the electric guitar in the band, although we like to swap around in some songs and I can play the Bass or the keyboard. I like to add some effects to the sound of the guitar to help it fit into the songs. There's a time for a guitar to stand out, and times for it to just add to the swirl. I also take a part in writing some songs and material for the band as well as designing all promotional materials.

The music I listen to has recently been mainly Electronic based. Artists like Boards of Canada, Four Tet, DJ Shadow and DJ Krush. I've also really enjoyed listening to some more Jazzy groups such as The Cinematic Orchestra which have a lot of rythm and a lot of feeling to them.

Apart from music I love the outdoors. Sometimes silence can be just as good to listen to. I'm also a designer so I have to say I love doing that. I'm also a keen photographer, so whenever I'm out I always take my camera. Check out my site at www.escapeimages.com

I must also give a mention to Indian Curry. It's the best food on the planet. I hate talking about it cos it makes me want to eat it. Come on Chicken Pakora!

If there is one thing I dislike in the world it's manufactured shitty Pop. It's all about ratings and that fat git who sits in his big office with his solid gold pen and his polished shoes, with his chauffeur waiting outside to take him home to his big fuck off mansion where he sits and feeds his stinking cats all day. Why? Because he writes the shitest songs in history and signs a cheque for an advertising contract who make a band famous and he rolls in all the cash.

Oh, and Gregs farts
