Monday 17th February 2003 - Whistlebinkies, Stirling 8.00pm Monday 3rd February 2003 - Whistlebinkies, Stirling 8.00pm Our Gigs Mon 3rd Feb 03 - Whistlebinkies, Stirling Mon 17th Feb 03 - Whistlebinkies, Stirling Other Gigs 25th April 03 - Warp/Leaf night, The Venue, Edinburgh 11th February 03 - Sigur Ros, Glasgow Barrowlands We put an awful lot of hard work into trying to make our live shows as good as we can can. That means hours of work in the studio working on new and existing songs and music. We are constantly reshaping and altering our sound depending on how we feel, and on the reactions we get from different crowds. It is good that we can change our sound. It means that every time we play live it's a new experience. We try and reproduce as best as we can the music that we work on when we are rehearsing and recording -but with the live element you never know what you're gonna get. It can sometimes be difficult setting up gigs with all the right gear to get our sound. There's a lot to think about. We may only have four members, but this band must require enough electicity to run a small town when we are playing! 2 Keyboards, Synthesiser, Sampler, 2 Electric Guitars, Bass Guitar, Drums and 5 Effects Pedals. That's not counting all the microphones that we need. The set usually starts of with something with a good strong rythm to it like 'This is me Reprise' to get things going. This is followed by some of our favourites, 'Helicon' and later 'Dream of Then'. From there things start getting a little dancier with longer instrumentals and faster drums. Our current gigs often end with a great climax 'Lost' which has an increadible drumbeat and rythm that just keeps going. We hope that you can try and come to one of our live shows and see it for yourself. Alternatively you can listen to some of our songs at the Music section. New additions will soon be available. PS. We are currently recruiting volunteer Rodies! |
